Job summary

The Neighborhood of Somerset is seeking a Cook to join their team, ensuring quality meals for residents in a warm, hospitality-focused community. The Cook reports to the Food and Beverage Director and follows Phoenix standardized recipes and production sheets.

Mon-Fri, 10-hour shifts; every other weekend required. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, culinary training, and SERV Safe certification or be willing to obtain it.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• One (1) year related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate (food services sanitation certificate) or able to participate in the food services sanitation training to become SERV Safe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals per approved Phoenix recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and comply with safety procedures.
• Operate dishwashing and manage kitchen equipment.
• Record temperatures and maintain production records.
