Job summary

Phoenix Senior Living Milton is seeking a Cook to join their team. The Cook will prepare meals, supervise food production and ensure compliance with safety standards and recipes for the community.

The role reports to the Food and Beverage Director and is a part-time as-needed position. Requirements include a high school diploma, SERV Safe certification, and 1 year of related experience in food preparation.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED required.
• Culinary apprenticeship or training preferred.
• One year job related experience including food preparation, full-line menu items and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains a current SERV Safe certificate or able to participate in training to become SERV Safe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve meals using Phoenix standardized recipes in a timely manner.
• Adhere to menus, production sheets and instructions; meet quality standards.
• Maintain sanitation and cleanliness of work areas and equipment.
• Record temperatures of equipment, refrigerators and food as required.
