Job summary

29th Street Property Management in Tampa is looking for an Assistant Community Manager to support the Community Manager and engage with residents daily. You will participate in occupancy management, budgeting, reporting, and vendor coordination to maintain property performance.

You will handle tenant communications, show units, process applications, collect rents, and help ensure compliance with fair housing and anti-discrimination laws while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager in daily operations.
• Communicate with tenants about property issues.
• Coordinate with tenants and third parties for maintenance.
• Show properties to prospective tenants.
• Process rental applications and conduct credit checks.
• Collect monthly rents and maintain financial records.
• Prepare budgets and financial reports.
• Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, landscaping, etc.
• Ensure compliance with housing laws and anti-discrimination policies.
