Job summary

UIP Property Management seeks a licensed, motivated Community Manager for a small portfolio of properties in Washington, DC. Reporting to the Regional Director, you will oversee leasing, marketing outreach, reporting, and the financial performance of the communities you manage.

Ideal candidates have a DC property manager license, 2+ years of residential management experience, and a customer-focused approach to delivering exceptional living experiences for residents.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business preferred or related field.
• 2+ years' experience as a residential property manager.
• Valid DC Real Estate Commission property manager license.
• Experience with Yardi or similar property management software.
• CPM/ARM/RPA certification preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy strategies to optimize community, financial, and team performance.
• Prepare and monitor property budgets and occupancy.
• Develop and deploy marketing initiatives to attract residents.
• Deliver exceptional living experiences and customer service; address issues.
• Collaborate with service and leasing teams to optimize performance.
• Manage security and physical condition of properties; coordinate improvements.
• Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and codes.
• Build relationships with owners, residents, vendors and colleagues.
• Use metrics to diagnose issues and report performance.
• Oversee smooth operation of the Management Office.
• Collect and post rents.
• Create welcoming communities compliant with UIPPM SOPs.
• Perform other duties as required.
