Job summary

KS Management’s University Commons in Ann Arbor is seeking a Community Services Director to oversee resident services, programs, communications, and administrative operations on-site for an active 55+ condominium community. You will supervise daily activities, coordinate events, manage volunteer groups, and ensure a welcoming, well-organized campus.

Ideal candidates bring exceptional organizational, customer-service, and communication skills, plus experience in community management or senior

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills required.
• Outstanding customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, events, and priorities.
• Good computer and technology skills; ability to learn new systems.
• Experience working with volunteers, committees, residents, vendors, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for residents and guests; resolve day-to-day concerns.
• Welcome new residents, conduct orientations and tours.
• Coordinate membership applications, move-in/out materials, directories, calendars, and records.
• Assist residents with community services, facilities, and requests.
• Maintain accurate records and protect confidential information.
• Plan, coordinate, and administer resident enrichment programs and events.
• Schedule speakers, meetings, and community events; coordinate volunteers.
• Provide basic A/V and Zoom support for programs and meetings.
• Prepare weekly community email and announcements; maintain calendars and website.
