Qualifications

• 2+ years of sales and/or customer relations experience.
• Low-income housing and tax credit experience is highly desired.
• Bilingual (English & Spanish) highly desired.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexible schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
• Solid computer knowledge (Windows, Word, Excel), internet and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Greet and qualify all prospects.
• Record all telephone and in-person visits on guest cards.
• Inspect models and communicate service needs to Community Manager.
• Demonstrate community and apartment/model features to prospects and close the sale.
• Assist applicants with the lease process and deposits.
• Process applications and update availability reports.
• Ensure apartment is move-in ready on the agreed date.
• Follow up with non-closers and refer to sister communities when needed.
• Secure resident signatures and orient new residents to the community.
• Assist in renewals and distribute renewal notices.
• Type lease agreements and input data into Yardi accurately.
• Maintain resident files and distribute notices.
