Balfour Beatty Communities in Newport, RI is seeking a Customer Experience Specialist to drive exceptional living experiences by engaging prospects, applicants and residents through the leasing and move-in process. You will manage inquiries, coordinate property showings, renewals and events, and ensure a welcoming, professional resident experience in line with our Exceptional Living policies.

Experience in customer service or hospitality and proficiency with Microsoft Office are preferred; a

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of customer service experience; property management or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• A valid state-issued driver's license and clean driving record are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to all community inquiries with professional, friendly service.
• Coordinate property showings, move-in/move-out, and renewal processes.
• Assist with leasing, onboarding and resident engagement activities.
• Attract new prospects through outreach and advertising of community features.
• Follow up with qualified prospects in line with company policies.
• Monitor and respond to resident waitlists and inquiries.
• Assist with Lifeworks events and activities as required.
• Conduct market surveys to compare competition and advantages.
