Job summary

MAA is seeking a Leasing Consultant at our Utah community to welcome prospective residents and showcase the value of living at a MAA property. You will help secure lease agreements and guide applicants through the screening process.

You will support leasing operations and marketing efforts, including handling lease expirations and renewals, while coordinating resident events to foster a sense of community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• At least one year of experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, and/or leasing
• Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint)

• Interacts with prospective residents, communicates the value and experience of living at a MAA community, and secures lease agreements
• Initiates the process to screen prospective residents
• Communicates lease expirations and facilitates lease renewals
• Assists with property marketing activities and resident events

The Leasing Consultant supports the leasing operations and financial performance of an assigned apartment community for MAA.
