Job summary

Sterling Group is seeking a part-time Leasing Consultant in Largo, FL to welcome visitors, tour communities, and guide applicants through the rental process. You will maintain resident relationships, enter inquiries into CRM, and assist with lease preparation and move-in tasks.

Work includes coordinating with the Property Manager, promoting the property, handling phone inquiries, and supporting marketing efforts. Familiarity with Yardi and Microsoft Office is helpful.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of one year experience in property management, retail service or sales.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Yardi program knowledge preferred.
• Proficient reading, writing and grammar skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with prospective and current residents.
• Greet and tour prospective residents, highlighting key features and benefits.
• Complete follow-ups promptly per policy guidelines.
• Answer phone calls professionally; enter inquiries into CRM.
• Assist applicants through the application process and lease docs.
• Manage leads and traffic daily in Yardi CRM.
• Know available units, rates, amenities, and policies.
• Prepare electronic lease agreements and move-in packets.
• Handle resident concerns promptly and professionally.
• Support marketing efforts including social media and events.
• Keep the community clean, welcoming and presentable.
• Assist in leasing strategies to meet sales goals.
• Ensure accurate data entry in property systems.
