Job summary

TLC Management Co. is seeking an Assistant Residential Community Manager in Bloomingdale, IL to support the Community Manager in daily operations, leasing, resident relations, and maintenance coordination.

The role emphasizes accuracy, organization, and responsive resident service. You will assist with showings, applications, and lease processing, while helping enforce policies and handling rent-related tasks.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in a fast-paced residential community.
• Knowledge of effective marketing, sales and closing techniques.
• Experience with Yardi Voyager, Microsoft Office, and CRM systems.
• Availability to work Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Community Manager with the day-to-day operations of the residential community.
• Support leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreements
• Demonstrated initiative, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident inquiries and concerns.
• Coordinate maintenance requests and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Coordinate resident move-ins and move-outs, including furniture delivery and pick up
• Help enforce community policies and procedures to maintain a safe and pleasant environment
• Assist with rent collection, account management, and the issuance of 5-day notices
• Maintain accurate records and prepare reports as needed
• Support community events and resident engagement initiatives.
• Comply with industry legal requirements related to all Fair Housing laws
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the Community Manager and the Vice President of Operations
