Job summary

Forefront is seeking a Supervisor Resident Experience to lead our culinary team in a healthcare environment. You’ll mentor staff, ensure safe food handling, and deliver resident-centered service in a supportive culture.

Candidates with strong food/culinary background and proven leadership will help create a resident-directed environment, plan events, and maintain quality standards across dining and activities for our community.

Qualifications

• Verbal and writing abilities necessary to communicate with staff, residents, and families.
• Motor coordination and dexterity required to prepare food and operate equipment.
• Willingness to perform routine, repetitive tasks with interruptions.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow recipe directions and diet orders.
• Identify resident needs and support a resident-directed service culture.
• Assist training staff on service recovery and resident experience initiatives.
• Educate associates on creating a safe, healthy work environment.
• Plan learning circles focused on residents’ experience.
• Involve residents in experience decisions and seek solutions.
• Be the first contact for questions, concerns, emergencies; coordinate with responders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the culinary team to deliver high-quality dining experiences for residents.
• Plan and implement resident-focused events and seasonal celebrations.
• Maintain portion control procedures and food safety standards.
• Build relationships with residents and market programs within the community.
• Attend department meetings and support staff development and training.
