Job summary

The Journal in Jersey City, developed by Kushner, is seeking a Resident Engagement Manager to enhance community living for residents and guests, plan events, coordinate concierge services, and ensure top-tier service. You will lead a concierge team, manage resident communications, and partner with property management to deliver engaging programs while maintaining spaces that reflect luxury living.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years experience in hospitality or property management, Bachelor’s degree

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5+ years in customer service, hospitality, or property management.
• Experience leading concierge or guest service teams and inspiring a high-performing group.
• Strong focus on building relationships and delivering memorable resident experiences.

Responsibilities

• Resident & Guest Engagement – be the face of the community, welcome residents and guests, address inquiries and create a warm, inviting atmosphere.
• Event Planning & Execution – plan, organize, and host engaging resident events from holidays to networking mixers, fitness classes, and social gatherings, collaborating with local vendors.
• Service Coordination – liaise between residents and property management, handle service requests and maintenance efficiently.
• Concierge Management – lead and mentor the concierge team, manage schedules and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Community Outreach & Communication – keep residents informed with calendars, announcements, and newsletters to enhance interaction.
• Data Management – maintain records of resident interactions, event participation, and service requests using property management software.
• Common Area Oversight – ensure spaces are well-maintained and reflect high standards.
