Job summary

Brookdale is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator in Santa Rosa, CA. You will develop monthly resident calendars, plan and execute events, and collaborate with leadership to create meaningful activities that foster connections.

The role may involve driving a community vehicle and relies on a person-centered approach to aging. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year coordinating engagement programs, with a High School diploma or GED; a Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs with adults.
• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Develops a monthly calendar with residents based on shared interests.
• Plans, coordinates, and executes community events (holiday, family, educational, and other marketing events).
• Provides resident engagement outside the community, including driving a community vehicle when needed.
• Makes standard decisions using guidelines and reports issues to supervisor as required.
