Job summary

Lakeview Commons Independent Living seeks a Resident Services Director to be the primary contact for Independent Living residents, coordinating with Sales and Plant Operations to meet occupancy goals. The role involves monitoring policies, ensuring resident comfort, and fostering a respectful, community-focused environment.

Key duties include attending resident meetings, updating policies, supporting move-ins/outs, and organizing staff trainings while promoting dignity, independence, and privacy

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a long-term care setting is preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Attend resident meetings and address questions or concerns.
• Review policies and procedures and implement necessary changes.
• Assist in preparing job descriptions and policy manuals.
• Establish a safety program including Fire/Disaster plan.
• Participate in staff training and monthly sales meetings.
• Support resident move-in/out processes and coordination with other departments.
• Maintain a home-like atmosphere and promote community activities.
• Ensure resident comfort and dignity in daily operations.
