Job summary

Avanath Capital is seeking a Community Manager to oversee property operations, reporting, rent processing, leasing, and team leadership. You will ensure resident satisfaction, manage finances, and maintain compliance in a dynamic apartment community in San Jose, CA.

The role requires LIHTC experience, strong communication, and proficiency with Yardi Voyager and MS Office. You will mentor staff, coordinate resident events, and uphold Fair Housing guidelines in daily operations.

Qualifications

• LIHTC/Tax Credit program knowledge is required.
• Excellent communication skills and dedication to customer service.
• Solid bookkeeping and rent collection experience.
• Thorough understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing laws.
• Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work with diverse personalities.
• Organized, resourceful, and proficient with basic computer tools.
• Familiarity with Yardi Voyager Property Management software.

Responsibilities

• Provide A+ customer service and maintain resident satisfaction.
• Manage rent collection, postings, and delinquencies; support monthly projections.
• Assist with leasing duties and tours for prospective residents.
• Lead property operations in Community Manager’s absence and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, and eviction procedures.
