Job summary

Betty’s Village in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator (LEC) to enhance residents' quality of life through planned activities. You will recruit and train volunteers, design a monthly schedule of in-house experiences, and ensure a welcoming, engaging atmosphere.

The role emphasizes safety, inclusivity, and collaboration with the community, partners, and support teams, while gathering feedback to improve the program and celebrate volunteers' contributions.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must hold CPI certification within 30 days of employment.
• Must hold CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of employment.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
• Experience coordinating recreational, volunteer, or community-based programs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate diverse recreational, educational, and wellness activities.
• Recruit, onboard, and train volunteers.
• Maintain a detailed monthly calendar of activities.
• Ensure safety, inclusivity, and compliance with policies.
• Develop community partnerships to sponsor activities.
• Assist residents in accessing community resources.
