Bryant Associates, Inc. is seeking a Resident Engineer for our Lincoln, RI office to lead field management of construction and design-build contracts for a mix of public and private clients.

Responsibilities include ensuring conformance to designs and contracts, coordinating inspection teams, and acting as liaison with clients. The role requires 5+ years of related experience, a strong host of communication and project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of related experience.
• Associates or BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manages staff to ensure activities conform to design specs and contracts.
• Oversees measurement and payment of contractor quantities.
• Documents observations, non-compliance and corrective actions.
• Coordinates work with inspection staff, testing firms and labs.
• Briefs client on project issues and suggests resolutions.
• Drafts and reviews responses to contractor correspondence.
• Provides guidance to inspection staff.
• Acts as on-site liaison between client, company personnel and contractor.
