Job summary

North Hill Needham Inc. in Needham, MA is seeking an Activities Coordinator to plan, develop, organize, implement and evaluate programs for Residents in a senior living community.

You will collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, coordinate events across campus, and engage Residents through individual and group activities while maintaining documentation and supporting family and volunteers.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Comfortable with computer software programs.
• Maintains First Aid, CPR, and other certifications.
• Experience planning, developing, and facilitating senior engagement programs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, implement and evaluate programs to enhance Residents' experience.
• Provide meaningful individual and group engagements within the small house model.
• Create weekly Residents notes regarding participation and programming highlights per household.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team daily to meet Residents' needs.
• Complete written or electronic documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist with household meal services, including preparation, cooking and serving meals.
• Coordinate supplies and space for planned events.
• Develop, produce, and distribute weekly and daily program calendars.
