Job summary

Jubilee Housing in Washington, DC seeks a Community Services Coordinator to nurture a sense of community among justice-involved residents across two long-term developments. You will plan, coordinate, and implement individualized support, onsite programs, workshops, and activities aligned with resident needs.

Under the Reentry Programs Manager, you will build partnerships with schools, healthcare providers, and social services, recruit volunteers, track participation, and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, or related field; 3 years direct service coordinator experience may substitute.
• At least 1 year of Human Services experience in a community-based setting.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings/weekends; typical 12pm-8pm shift.
• Experience with resource navigation and individual service plans preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and facilitate educational, recreational, health, wellness, mentorship, and community-building activities for residents.
• Develop calendars aligned with resident needs and organizational goals.
• Conduct resident surveys to identify interests and programming opportunities.
• Coordinate multi-family programs and community events.
• Maintain a database of community resources and connect residents with them.
• Recruit, train, supervise volunteers and program facilitators.
• Prepare reports on participation and outcomes.
