Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator (Finance) to support resident programs, calendar planning, and community events. You will collaborate with the leadership team to create engaging activities and coordinate outreach, with a focus on programs that enhance resident well-being and community involvement.

The role emphasizes coordination, relationship-building, and adherence to safety standards while supporting a vibrant, person-centered community culture.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of direct experience with adults, coordinating, planning, and executing programs.
• High school diploma or general education diploma (GED) required.
• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or other related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license and may be required to obtain a commercial driver's license based on community needs.

Responsibilities

• Uses a person-centered approach to build relationships and connections with residents.
• Develops a monthly calendar with residents based on shared interests.
• Collaborates with community leadership to plan and execute events (holidays, family, educational, and marketing events).
• Plans and schedules meaningful resident engagement opportunities outside the community, including driving a community vehicle.
