Job summary

Brookdale Senior Living is seeking a Resident Engagement Coordinator to drive engagement initiatives for residents within our communities. The role focuses on coordinating, planning, and executing engaging programs that enhance residents' lives and well-being.

You will develop monthly calendars with residents, collaborate with the leadership team on events, and may arrange engagement activities outside the community, including driving a community vehicle.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year of direct experience coordinating, planning, and executing programs is required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree in therapeutic recreation, gerontology, health care, education, or other related field preferred.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute resident engagement programs.
• Develop a monthly calendar with residents based on shared interests.
• Collaborate with the community leadership team to plan events.
• Plan and schedule meaningful resident engagement activities outside the community, including driving a community vehicle.
