Job summary

City of Allen seeks a Multi-Family Housing Coordinator to develop and implement activities stabilizing and enhancing multifamily communities in Allen, TX. You will coordinate resident engagement, enforce housing standards, and partner with community managers to provide on-site city services.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in business or related field with two years of relevant experience and a Texas Class C license. This is a full-time position in the Community Enhancement department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and two (2) years of relevant experience.
• Must possess a valid Texas Class C driver’s license.
• Knowledge of city rules, regulations, policies, and procedures with particular attention to codes and ordinances.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements resident engagement activities by coordinating and facilitating on-site meetings, block parties, and information sessions and interacting directly with residents regarding City services.
• Ensures communities maintain minimum housing standards by administering an inspection program, coordinating with Code Compliance staff, conducting inspections, enforcing City codes, and responding to resident complaints.
• Establishes partnerships with local community managers by serving as an information resource, providing technical support, and providing information regarding City services and ordinance requirements.
• Enhances quality of life for residents by developing strategies and policies for addressing common multi-family community issues and identifying and resolving issues related to long-term maintenance.
• Coordinates services across City departments by creating procedures to assist departments in consistent and effective inspection programs and complaint response and collaborating with departments and other agencies to provide on-site services.
