Job summary

LCB Senior Living, LLC seeks an enthusiastic Activities Director at Traditions of Dedham to lead a dynamic resident engagement program. You’ll design and supervise enrichment activities, coordinate a volunteer network, and maintain calendars and newsletters to enhance residents’ social, mental, and physical well-being.

You will hire and train staff, manage budgets, and collaborate with the Sales/Marketing team to strengthen community ties.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreational Therapy or related field preferred.
• Certification in Recreational Therapy preferred; NH/MA possibilities considered.
• Experience in recreational therapy and gerontology preferred; one year minimum.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise group and individual activities for residents.
• Hire, train, and evaluate activities staff; monitor performance.
• Maintain activity calendars and collaborate with Sales/Marketing for outreach.
• Coordinate transportation and volunteer programs; ensure safety and accessibility.
• Develop resident life stories and coordinate special events and newsletters.
• Ensure compliance with policies and maintain budgeting for the program.
