Towson Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center is seeking an Activity Director to plan, organize, and implement a comprehensive activities program that promotes residents' physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual well-being in a long-term care setting.

You will assess residents, develop individualized activity plans, supervise staff, and coordinate family engagement while upholding regulatory standards and promoting quality of life for all residents.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in long-term care, assisted living, or recreational programming preferred.
• Activity Director certification or credentials as required by regulations.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work with older adults, including those with dementia.
• Knowledge of person-centered care and recreational programming.

• Develop and implement a monthly activities calendar.
• Plan daily individual and group activities.
• Provide recreational, educational, social, spiritual, and therapeutic activities.
• Coordinate special events and celebrations.
• Offer activities accommodating residents with varying abilities.
• Document resident participation and progress; participate in care planning.
