Job summary

Potomac Courts Assisted Living is seeking an Activities Assistant to organize and lead daily activities for residents in Potomac, Maryland. You will facilitate games, exercise classes, arts and crafts, and social events to inspire engagement.

You will encourage participation, provide one-on-one engagement as needed, and help set up and clean up activity spaces while observing residents and reporting changes to the Activities Director. Maintaining a safe, inclusive environment is essential.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report changes in residents' mood, behavior, or participation to the Activities Director
• Maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive environment for all residents
• Assist in organizing and leading daily activities such as games, exercise classes, arts and crafts, and social events
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one engagement as needed
• Help set up and clean up activity spaces and materials
