Green Acres Nursing and Rehab in La Plata, Maryland is seeking an Activities Assistant to enhance residents' quality of life through engaging programs and thoughtful planning. You will organize diverse activities and tailor them to residents' interests, encouraging participation and social interaction.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and energetic demeanor for resident-focused care.
• Experience in activities coordination preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to promote socialization and engagement among residents.
• Create and organize programs tailored to residents' interests and abilities.
• Encourage resident participation and inclusion in all activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment.
• Collaborate with dietary and maintenance to ensure a seamless experience for residents.
