Job summary

Encore Village in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Lifestyles Activity Manager for Independent Living to lead programs that promote resident engagement and enhance quality of life. You will schedule and support performing arts programming, create, plan and execute recreational and social activities based on resident interests, and coordinate large all-campus events.

As a member of the Lifestyles Team, you will liaise with the Resident Activity Committee, support resident-led groups, and publicize

Qualifications

• Desire to serve the Senior community.
• Ability to effectively communicate with Residents and Associates in individual and group settings.
• Strong commitment to teamwork and collaboration.
• Knowledge of AV equipment operation, including photography and video.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Computer skills with ability to utilize a variety of apps to support programming.
• Program and Event Planning experience required; experience in Senior activities.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides programs and services that promote Resident engagement and enhance quality of life.
• Schedules and supports performing arts programming.
• Creates, plans and executes recreational and social programs based on Resident interests.
• Serves as liaison to the Resident Activity Committee and supports Resident led groups.
• Coordinates large all-campus special events.
• Creates calendar of events utilizing Community Communication App.
• Publicizes Lifestyles programs and other relevant information via printed and digital communication.
