Job summary

Holly Manor Center seeks an Activity Assistant to enrich the lives of patients and residents by planning, organizing, and implementing engagement activities that meet physical, creative, cognitive, social, and spiritual needs.

The role includes contributing to monthly recreation therapy plans, documenting attendance and participation, and attending care plan meetings as needed. We value effective communication and a collaborative, inclusive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English to ensure safety and wellbeing of patients and residents.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required to interact with patients, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and implement engagement activities meeting the diverse needs of patients and residents.
• Provide input into the design of monthly recreation therapy services.
• Document attendance and participation in recreation programs; attend care plan meetings as needed.
