Job summary

Haven Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Activity Aid to enhance the daily living experience for residents. This role involves facilitating group and individual activities tailored to residents' needs, ensuring a vibrant environment filled with interaction and care.

The Activities Aide will also manage documentation, create activity calendars, and uphold established policies and procedures to enrich residents' lives.

Qualifications

• 1 - 2 years’ experience in a social or recreational program in a healthcare setting (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Facilitate ongoing program for group and individual activities based on the residents’ needs.
• Complete required record keeping upon resident admission, discharge, transfer.
• Assist in creating the activity calendar.
• Follow and maintain established policies and procedures.
• Encourage participation in Resident Council, schedule monthly meetings.
