The role involves planning and facilitating activities, direct resident interaction, organizing supplies, assisting recreation specialists, documenting attendance, and safely escorting residents to activity locations.

Responsibilities

• Plan and Facilitate Activities: Design and conduct engaging activities tailored to residents’ interests.
• Direct Interaction with Residents: Work directly with residents on units, fostering meaningful interactions without direct supervision.
• Organize Supplies & Equipment: Procure and prepare necessary supplies and equipment for activities.
• Assist Recreation Specialists: Support and assist with program areas and preparations as needed.
• Attendance & Participation Documentation: Maintain daily attendance records and document residents’ participation in activities.
• Escort Residents: Safely escort residents to and from activity locations, ensuring their safety and comfort.
