Responsibilities include planning and evaluating programs, documenting progress, assisting with supplies, and providing one-on-one engagement.

Qualifications

• Experience in Long-Term Care or Activities Department preferred.
• Positive attitude, patience, compassion, enthusiasm, and ability to work with residents.
• Self-motivated team player who takes initiative and works well independently.
• Professional, reliable, and committed to providing high-quality resident experiences.
• Strong English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
• Observe resident participation and report progress.
• Maintain accurate and descriptive activity notes reflecting services provided.
• Create a warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the community.
• Collaborate with volunteers and other departments to support daily operations.
• Prepare activity rooms and assist with clean-up after events and activities.
• Follow resident care plans during daily activities and engagement.
• Support residents with one-on-one engagement and personalized activities.
• May fill in for receptionist as needed.
