State of North Carolina, Caswell Developmental Center, seeks an Educational Development Assistant (S) to lead activities in homes and enrichment centers. The role includes supervising staff, guiding instructional activities, and transporting residents to centers in the early mornings and at lunchtime.

The position emphasizes documenting participation and providing feedback to supervisors, with CPI/CPR as a preferred qualification and a 7:00 AM–3:30 PM schedule at the Education Enrichment Center.

Qualifications

• Experience in education settings with instructional knowledge and reinforcement strategies.
• Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities and autism.
• Ability to instruct, support participation and follow regulations with minimal supervision.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to work with residents and staff.
• Management Preference: CPI and CPR completed.

Responsabilités

• Lead educational activities in homes and Educational Enrichment Centers.
• Provide supervision and support for staff and residents.
• Assist with instruction and group activities during mornings and lunchtime.
• Transport residents to and from the Educational Enrichment Centers.
• Document participation and provide feedback to Lead EDA, EPA, and Teachers.
