Job summary

Villa Gardens Retirement Community is seeking a Dietary Aide I for full-time work. Schedule varies and weekends are required. Pay range is $20.25 - $24.00 hourly.

Under supervision of the Director of Dining Services or Executive Chef, the Dietary Aide I prepares and delivers food trays to residents and performs assigned duties including meal service, cleaning, and safety/infection-control practices. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Food Handlers’ certification from local health department
• Some High School Education
• Experience in food service preferred

Responsibilities

• Provides quality customer service to residents, families, and staff
• Arrives on time in clean uniform with nametag visible
• Pre-assembles resident trays and assists in serving meals
• Assists cook in preparation and service of meals
• Follows cleaning schedules and maintains dining area cleanliness
• Ensures dining room is set up and meals are served safely and on time
