Server/Dietary Aide (Summerfield Retirement Community)

Summerfield Retirement Community is looking to hire friendly Servers/Dietary Aides for our dietary department. Pay rate $12.00 per hour. You will deliver dishes and ensure good sanitary conditions in cooking and dining premises. A Dietary Aide/Server must be capable of assisting with food preparation by following instructions while adhering to all safety and health standards.

We will be interviewing qualified candidates for all shifts. You will be serving our senior residents, so a serving heart is required!

Responsibilities

• Set up tables or other dining areas with attention to cleanliness and order
• Meal Service
• Deliver meals to designated rooms at designated times
• Take down dining areas and collect plates, glasses etc.
• Discard leftovers and take out garbage
• Clean food stations and wash dishes, cooking vessels and silverware
• Stock ingredients and monitor inventory
• May assist with meal preparation under the supervision of a dietary manager or cook

Skills

• Proven experience as a dietary aide
• Further experience in customer service will be appreciated
• Knowledge of sanitation and safety guidelines
• Skilled in preparing meals according to instructions
• Aptitude in operating cookware, bakeware and cooking appliances
• Friendly with good communication skills
• Good physical condition and stamina

Must be able to pass Drug Screen and Background Check

Job Type: Full-time - Must be able to work weekends

Shifts: Day Shift 6:30am - 2:30pm, Evening Shift 10:45am - 7:00pm

This is a full-time position with a pay range of $12.00.
