Job summary

Ciel Senior Living in Orlando, FL, is seeking a Server to join our dining room team. You will take resident orders, assist with closing duties, and help ensure a welcoming dining experience for our residents.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, are friendly, and can coordinate with kitchen staff. This hourly role requires on-site work and ongoing training through our LMS.

Qualifications

• Experience providing excellent customer service.
• A positive attitude and ability to work well with cooks and other staff.
• Able to perform high-quality work while unsupervised.
• Ability to deliver orders in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Supports the mission, vision, and goals of the organization, upholding and promoting company culture and vision.
• Take food and drink orders from residents and guests accurately and with a positive attitude.
• Write resident or guest food orders on order slips.
• Engage with residents in a friendly manner.
• Knowledge of the menu, with the ability to make suggestions.
• Ensure tables are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
• Perform end of shift duties in dining and kitchen.
• Assist food preparation staff when necessary.
• Attends training courses at community and maintains up to date monthly, quarterly, annual training through designated LMS.
• Other duties as assigned, and which relate to the success of the community and the care, comfort, and happiness of our residents.
