Job summary

Golden-Oaks Village of Stillwater in Stillwater, OK seeks a dedicated Server/Cook to prepare delicious meals for residents and staff, and guide dietary aides and dishwashers on safety standards.

Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals, maintaining food safety and sanitation, keeping the kitchen clean, and safely operating equipment. Additional duties may be assigned by the Dietary Manager.

Qualifications

• Experience as a short-order cook is helpful.
• Customer service-oriented attitude.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of meals as directed.
• Adhere to federal and state long-term care regulations for food safety and sanitation, and follow all Dietary Department policies and procedures.
• Keep the kitchen and work areas clean by washing and cleaning equipment and utensils, and performing other scheduled cleaning tasks.
• Safely operate and assess the condition of food service equipment.
• Perform other duties or assignments as directed by the Dietary Manager.
