Job summary

Harmony Senior Services, LLC is seeking a Dietary Aide / Server for full-time shifts in Charleston, South Carolina. You will courteously serve resident and guest meals, assist with menu orders, beverage service, and dining room cleanup after meals, while upholding confidentiality and resident care standards.

Responsibilities include assisting with tray service, following food safety practices, and reporting equipment or tableware issues to supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be in clean designated uniform during working hours and maintain good personal hygiene.
• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to learn quickly and apply learned principles.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to bend, reach, grasp, push and pull objects.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for 20 feet.
• Must be organized and willing to work well with other team members.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and assist with tray service.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk and coffee/tea).
• Refill salt/pepper/sugar bowls; help with cleanup and dining room reset after meals.
• Assist residents with menu orders and attend to special needs as required.
• Report any broken equipment or tableware to supervisor.
• Maintain proper food storage and labeling procedures.
• Attend required in-services and staff meetings.
