Job summary

Harmony is seeking a server to provide courteous meal service to residents and guests at our Chester, VA location. You will assist with menu orders, beverage service, tray handling, and dining room cleanup. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and follow simple instructions.
• Must possess ability to perform simple, repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to communicate effectively and work under close supervision.
• Must be able to stand and walk for sustained periods up to three hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs on a regular basis and carry heavy objects for short distances.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Serve resident and guest meals courteously and assist with menu orders.
• Provide beverage service (water, iced tea, juices, milk, coffee/tea).
• Assist with tray service and dining room cleanup and resetting.
• Follow proper food storage and labeling techniques and report any issues.
• Interact politely with residents, guests, co-workers, and supervisors and maintain confidentiality.
