Job summary

FirstService Residential is hiring a Server to engage with residents and manage dining operations within the community. The role covers restaurant service, bar, catering, and events, requiring professionalism, positive interaction, and adherence to service standards.

Schedule: Tuesday to Sunday, 12PM–10PM; compensation is $14.00 per hour plus 18% auto gratuity. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with supplemental benefits.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dining area for service by setting up tables and condiments.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage policies.
• Explain chef specials and wines; answer menu questions.
• Stay updated on menu items and special deviations.
• Transmit orders to bar/kitchen and note dietary needs.
• Serve orders and deliver accompaniments and condiments.
• Respond to guest needs and observe dining flow.
• Maintain table settings and refill water as needed.
• Open and pour wine tableside.
• Process payments and handle charges.
