Qualifications

• Able to read and write and follow oral and written directions.
• One year of hospital or food service experience is desirable but not required.
• Certification in ServSafe is a plus and may be offered with employment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, portion, and serve meals according to diet orders and preferences.
• Maintain sanitary, organized work areas following safety standards and procedures.
• Deliver meals to resident dining areas or rooms with accuracy and courtesy.
• Monitor supplies and equipment; restock as needed to support operations.
• Communicate diet changes or resident needs with dietary and nursing staff.
• Participate in training, quality improvement, and safety practices.
