Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking a dedicated dietary aide to assist with food preparation and meal service for patients and residents. You will help prepare meals, desserts, and snacks, deliver trays, and ensure accurate portioning and substitutions according to guidelines.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitary conditions, recording temperatures, supporting infection control practices, and attending trainings to stay current with licensing requirements.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• On-the-job training provided; no prior experience required.
• Previous food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist cook in meal and dessert preparation for patients/residents.
• Deliver trays to patients and serve meals in dining area.
• Prepare between-meal nourishments and record substitutions as needed.
• Maintain cleaning and sanitation per guidelines and store leftovers properly.
• Record temperatures for freezers and walk-in refrigerators.
• Follow infection control policies and safety procedures in the kitchen.
• Attend mandatory trainings and maintain required licenses/certifications.
