Job summary

Pruitthealth Corporation is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist with food preparation under the guidance of the Dietary Manager. You will follow established guidelines for storing, serving, and transporting food, and help maintain equipment and sanitation standards.

You will deliver trays to patients and assist with meal service in dining areas, while offering friendly, responsive support to residents and their families. Prior food service experience is helpful, and on-the-job training is provided.

Qualifications

• Sufficient education to demonstrate functional literacy.
• On-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Assists cook in preparing meals and snacks for patients/residents.
• Delivers trays to patients/residents on halls.
• Serves meals in dining area; handles beverages.
• Prepares between-meal nourishments and records substitutions.
• Maintains clean dining and kitchen areas and proper waste disposal.
• Follows infection control and safety procedures.
