Job summary

archcarecareers is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the Food Service Director/Supervisor in preparing resident meals and meeting special dietary needs. You will work with cooks to prepare trays and serve residents, visitors, or staff, while maintaining cleanliness and kitchen/dining areas.

Responsibilities include delivering trays, ensuring proper diets, reporting issues, receiving and storing supplies, and coordinating with staff and families, all while adhering to long-term care dietary

Qualifications

• 1 year experience in food services or customer service.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assist in preparing resident meal trays and serving food.
• Prepare menu items and deliver trays to residents in dining areas or rooms, ensuring proper diets.
• Maintain dining room cleanliness and handle serving carts.
• Observe residents and report issues to supervisor.
• Assist in receiving and storing food and supplies and report needs to Chef/Manager.
• Communicate and cooperate with staff, residents, and families.
• Comply with long-term care regulations and dietary procedures.
