Responsibilities

  • Assist with food preparation, cooking, and baking in accordance with recipes, special diets, and direction from the Cook/Baker.
  • Set up dining areas, take orders, serve food and beverages, and provide excellent customer service.
  • Bus tables, wash dishes, and clean/sanitize dining and kitchen areas.
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, and pans.
  • Sweep and mop floors to ensure a safe and sanitary workspace.
  • Review menus and work orders to determine food quantities and preparation needs.
  • Prepare items in advance, including freezer pulls and next-day meal prep.
  • Transport hot and cold food safely to and from the kitchen.
  • Follow all food safety regulations, including proper temperature logging and documentation.
  • Assist in training new food service staff as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.
