Job summary

Healthcare Services Group, Inc is seeking a Dietary Aide to prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care facility. You will assist with food preparation, ensure dietary needs are met, and maintain clean dining and kitchen areas.

The role emphasizes teamwork, adherence to safety guidelines, and positive resident interactions. A high school diploma (or equivalent) and a ServSafe/food handler certification are preferred or required by state law, with lifting and standing for extended

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous food service experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Must be able to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
• ServSafe or Food Handler certification required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables and preparing salads.
• Serve meals to residents according to dietary needs and portion sizes.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
• Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service.
• All other duties as assigned.
