Claiborne Senior Living is seeking a Dining Assistant to help create a welcoming, high-quality dining experience for residents. You will support meal preparation, assist residents with diets, and maintain safe, clean dining areas as part of a collaborative care team.

The role emphasizes friendly service, reliability, and adherence to food safety standards in a fast-paced senior living environment. Weekend and holiday availability may be required.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and a positive, team-oriented mindset.
• Knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Assist with meal preparation and service following standardized recipes and portion guidelines.
• Support residents with special diets and dietary needs as directed.
• Maintain safe food handling, sanitation, and storage practices.
• Keep dining areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Provide friendly, attentive service to residents and respond promptly to requests.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary and care teams to ensure a positive dining experience
• Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
