Job summary

SRMMG's Artful Dining unit is seeking a dining services associate to prepare and cook meals for residents, families and visitors, while promoting a respectful, caring environment. You will oversee kitchen operations, ensure proper portioning and temperature control, and support a culture aligned with the Golden Rule.

Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining sanitation, training new staff, and clear communication with residents and teammates.

Qualifications

• Language Ability: ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Reasoning Ability: apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Teamwork: work effectively as part of dining services team.

Responsibilities

• Prepares all food according to established menu and recipes.
• Insures proper preparation, portioning and serving.
• Maintains sanitation, safety and cleaning schedules in the kitchen.
• Oversees food handling to prevent contamination and reduce costs.
• Assists with training of new dining services staff.
• Communicates effectively with residents, families, and colleagues.
