Job summary

The SR Companies is seeking a dining services assistant to support food preparation and serving for residents, families, and guests in the SRIM dining program. You will help maintain a clean kitchen and dining area, follow sanitation procedures, and respond promptly to resident requests.

You will work under supervision, wear policy-compliant dress, and participate in trainings while fostering a respectful, dignified atmosphere for residents and staff.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; or less than one year related experience or training.
• Language: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; write simple correspondence.
• Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed or simple instructions.
• Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, use hands, reach, talk or hear; lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food preparation according to the established menu.
• Serve residents in dining room at breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and dining areas.
• Follow sanitation, safety, and cleaning schedules.
• Assist residents, families, and visitors with requests promptly and courteously.
• Observe HIPAA regulations and protect resident information.
• Participate in trainings and wear appropriate dress per policy.
• Work as a team with associates and management to complete tasks.
