Job summary

Sisters-of-St.-Franci is seeking a Food Service Homemaker for full-time daytime shifts in Dubuque, IA. You will deliver meal service to residents, assist during meals, and maintain cleanliness of dining and kitchen areas, under nursing direction when needed.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED and a service-oriented, caring attitude aligned with Franciscan values. Prior food service or healthcare experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Serve meals to residents in a respectful, timely manner.
• Assist residents during meals including feeding under nursing direction.
• Provide beverages and ensure resident needs are met.
• Prepare snacks and nourishments as scheduled.
• Notify nursing staff of resident concerns.
• Welcome and assist guests during meal times.
• Assist with basic food preparation using menus and recipes.
• Prepare work and serving areas prior to meal service.
• Replenish supplies in assigned areas.
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen tasks.
• Maintain a clean dining and kitchen environment.
