Job summary

fhcexternal is seeking a Culinary Services Aide to support the culinary department. You will perform routine dietary tasks, assist in meal prep and service, and ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines, safety, and infection control policies.

You will set up dining areas, assist with trays and meal service, and follow established reporting procedures for supplies and equipment. Attendance at mandatory trainings and adherence to HIPAA and confidentiality rules are required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety practices and infection control.
• Ability to read, write and speak English.
• ServeSafe certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform designated culinary routines using dietary utensils and equipment.
• Assist cook in meal preparation and service.
• Follow federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.
• Follow cleaning schedules and perform cleaning duties as scheduled.
• Assist in arranging trays, loading food carts, and serving meals.
• Set up dining room and serve residents.
